MIDDLEBORO — Downtown Middleboro will be busier than usual on Friday, Feb. 2 from 5-8 p.m. as shops and restaurants stay open late for the monthly First Friday event. 

Coffee Milano will be hosting a game night. Other shops will stay open during the evening, allowing shoppers who normally work during the day to have a chance to shop locally.

Sandy Cronin, who co-owns the store Rekindled Home in Middleboro, said that the late hours are a perfect opportunity to enjoy a date night or a night time shopping excursion with friends.
