Steven J. Ouellette, 54
MIDDLEBORO — Steven J. Ouellette, age 54, of Middleboro, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Morton Hospital in Taunton.
Steve was born and raised in Middleboro. He was a carefree old soul, worked hard and played harder. He embraced the motto “Live like you were dying” and always lived his life to its fullest. He loved to boogie on the dance floor, sing karaoke, music and concerts where he partied like a rockstar, and was quite the comedian, he thought so anyway! He was a good, honest man, who never sugar coated things, no matter how harsh, he simply told it like it was. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, and boating.
He was a heavy equipment operator for most of his life, and recently retired from the Local 4 Union. He worked for J Derenzo and Lawrence Lynch throughout his union years and Redlon Construction prior.
Steve is survived by his only son Evan M. Ouellette and his girlfriend Nichole Henderson of Carver; the Love and light of his life of almost 20 years, Florinda Zamora-Kosh of Middleboro and her daughters that he loved as his own, Hailey and Kalyn Kosh. He was the son of Herbert F. Ouellette & his late wife Joan of Plymouth; preceded in death by his mother Sandra Jean (Guild) Ouellette formerly of Carver; and his brother Michael Scott Ouellette.
Steve is also survived by his sister Bonnie Andrade and her husband Frank of Plymouth, brother Herbert Ouellette, Jr. of New York, brother Timothy Ouellette and his partner Bonnie McDonough of Florida; niece Ericka Richards and her husband Chris of Mashpee, nephew Frank Andrade, Jr. and his wife Bianca of North Carolina, niece Amanda Mazetis and husband Evan of Fall River, nephew Timmy Ouellette, Jr. of Brockton; great-nieces and great-nephews Ashley, Noah, Savanah, Teagan, Jace, Brayden, Isabella, Ryleigh and Charlize; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
To know Steve was to love Steve, he showed tremendous love and support to the ones he held closest to his heart. He was loud, goofy, blunt and often the life of the party. He will be tremendously missed by everyone.
