Rotary Club donates an ‘eye in the sky’ to Middleboro’s cable access media
MIDDLEBORO — The Middleboro-Lakeville Rotary Club recently donated a state-of-the-art drone to Middleborough Community Cable Access Media, also known as MCCAM.
Director of Media Technology Karen Foye noted that this addition to MCCAM’s arsenal marks a significant upgrade in how Middleboro’s stories are told. The donation will provide MCCAM with a tool to capture aerial cinematography for their community media.
“By providing the tools for high-definition aerial cinematography, the Rotary Club is ensuring that our local cable station can capture the vibrant spirit of our community from perspectives heretofore not possible,” Foye stated in a press release.
Residents can look forward to bird's-eye views of signature local events like the annual parades, as well as dynamic "Community Reels" that showcase Middleboro’s local businesses and scenic landmarks.
