MIDDLEBORO — The Middleboro Unitarian Universalist Church is hosting a road rally on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Rain date is Saturday, Oct. 26.

Teams will “launch” from the Middleboro Town Hall parking lot at three-minute intervals starting at 9:30 a.m. Entrance fee is $45 per vehicle. 

Each team’s challenge is to use directions and clues to navigate a slightly tricky course over public roads, while answering questions and following all traffic laws. All participants are urged to keep safety in mind at all times.

Teams with the most accurate combined scores for time, mileage, and answers will be awarded trophies and medals.

Families are encouraged to compete. As many as 20 cars/teams can participate, and each car may have a team of two to four, with four participants highly recommended.

While participants await the awards ceremony, entertainment will be provided by Ed Priest and snacks will be available in the UU Parish Hall at 25 South Main St.
