Prepare for a fright as ghost tours return to Middleboro Town Hall

Oct 10, 2022

MIDDLEBORO — Some scary stuff will be happening in late October at Middleboro Town Hall.

The Middleboro Tourism Committee is sponsoring the ninth annual Town Hall Ghost Tours on Oct. 21, 22, 28, and 29 at Town Hall. There will also be a special VIP Paranormal Ghost Hunt.

The guided spooky tours will start each night at 7 p.m. and run until 9 p.m. when the last tour will start. Each tour will last approximately 30 minutes. Tours will depart roughly every 15 minutes.

The guided tours are $10 per person. Participants will be led through the building, where they may encounter ghostly beings and haunted happenings. There will be special effects throughout the tour as well as “beings” engaging with the crowd.

Because the tour is designed as a haunted house with costumed characters actively scaring visitors, organizers recommend this event for older children and adults. Costumes are encouraged.

Each tour group is limited to 8-10 people and pre-registration is required. To reserve a spot, visit discovermiddleborough.eventbrite.com.

After the Town Hall Ghost Tours have concluded, a team of paranormal ghost hunters will stay behind and lead a group through the Town Hall in search of real evidence of ghostly beings. Professional paranormal equipment will be provided to search the building for possible proof that there is more than meets the eye.

VIP Ghost Hunt Tours will be held on three days only, Oct.  22, 28 and 29. The tours will run from 10 p.m. to midnight.

Tickets are $20 per person and must be reserved ahead of time by visiting discovermiddleborough.eventbrite.com. The event is listed as VIP Paranormal Ghost Hunt.

This event is geared towards older children and adults.

There are no refunds.
