Photos: Spooky season brings haunting decorations
Its that time of year when ghost, ghouls and 12 foot skeletons start occupying the lawns in Middleboro and Lakeville.
From themed haunted houses to graveyards, spooky displays have popped up around the towns.
Some Middleboro community members, such as the Szadis family are participating in the Heart to Art Pumpkin Romp display contest this year.
“We managed to score a 12 foot skeleton this year,” said Kirsten Szadis, who added that Halloween is her favorite holiday. “We went all out for the romp.”
Sarah Guertin of Coombs Street has won the title of “Most Creative” during previous Pumpkin Romps. Her previous displays were “Wizard of Oz” and “Willy Wonka” themed. This year, she went for an “Adam’s Family” theme that included hand painted pumpkins of the characters.
