LAKEVILLE —A 32-year-old Taunton motorcyclist has died, the day after being seriously injured in a collision with a pick-up truck  in Lakeville Friday, May 10, Lakeville Police reported.

Christopher Walker was transported Friday to St. Luke’s Hospital after the 2015 Honda CBR 1000 motorcycle he was riding collided with a Honda Ridgeline pick-up truck at the intersection of Bedford Street (Route 18) and Rhode Island Road (Route 79). He died Saturday, May 11. 

The accident took place at about 7 p.m. No other injuries were reported. 

Walker received advanced life support while being transported to the hospital, the Lakeville Fire Department reported. 

A portion of Route 18 was closed for a time after the accident. 

The Lakeville Police Department and Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office are investigating the crash.
