MIDDLEBORO — No fooling: Middleboro mother and daughter Maryanne Spence and Ellen Spence have been selected as vendors for Sip & Stroll: Spring taking place Saturday, April 1.

Maryanne will be selling handmade gnomes at her Gnomeables booth. She was the seamstress and costume stylist at The Burt Wood School of Performing Arts many years ago when her daughter Ellen was enrolled in the program. Ellen will have a booth next to her mother selling handmade resin dice, dice accessories for tabletop gaming needs. Her company is called  the Dice Goblin Shop.

When not creating gnomes, Maryanne is passionate about archery. She is an archer at the national and international level. She creates "gnomies" as a way of calming down after practice sessions and competitions.

Sip and Stroll: Spring will take place from 4 to 7 p.m.  April 1 outside Middleboro Town Hall, 10 Nickerson Ave. The free event features 84 vendors, food trucks, and The Bartending Service of New England.

Booth rental proceeds from Sip & Stroll benefit The Burt Wood School scholarship program.
