MIDDLEBORO — Middleboro, get ready to party.

On June 24, Fab Fest Block Party, an all-day celebration, is scheduled for downtown under the coordination of the Middleboro Office of Economic and Community Development.

This is no one-and-done event. Instead, activities began at 9 a.m. with a classic car show at Battis Field and end with the conclusion of live music at Kramer Park and comedy and live music at the Bridge Church, both of which will wrap up at 9 p.m.

One of the highlights of the day will be a Pride Fest from noon to 4 p.m. at Town Hall lawn.

Pride Fest, in its second year, is “going to be a great party,’’ organizer Sascha Mules-O’Roak said. “Everything will be family-friendly.’’

The event, with a theme of “Love is love, it doesn’t matter who it is,’’ will provide a “safe space’’ for the LGBTQ community.

Other activities scheduled during that day include:

Fashion show featuring the town’s thrift shops from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Thatchers Row;

Live artisan demonstration at Rekindled Home from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.;

Pillow-making workshop at the Custom Decorator at 4 p.m.

Grand opening of an art installation by Middleboro High student Savannah Byrne in the window of Middleboro Community Cable Access from 5 to 7 p.m.;

Live music at Kramer Park from 6 to 9 p.m.

Window art exhibits, music and an open house at Borobot throughout the day

Comedy and music at the Bridge Church, 7 to 9 p.m.

By having a range of events in various locations, organizers hope to draw people to visit, and spend time in, Middleboro, said Zannah Noe, communications and community engagement specialist for the Middleboro Office of Economic and Community Development.

“We’re inviting everyone to come and have a good time,’’ Mules-O’Roak said.
