MIDDLEBORO — Middleboro High School has been awarded a free automated external defibrillator, often referred to as an AED, from The Scholastic Sports Zone Foundation.

The AED presentation reflects the foundation’s dedication to enhancing the preparedness of schools in the region. AEDs are critical tools that can save lives by providing immediate assistance in the event of a cardiac arrest, significantly improving emergency response times and outcomes. 

The foundation’s mission is to promote safety, wellness, and preparedness within schools through various initiatives designed to improve the overall health and safety of students and staff.
