Michelle A. “Shellie” (Holmes) Young, 65 of Lakeville, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife of Steve Young for 18 years. 

Shellie is survived by her husband, daughter Jamie and her husband Tony Iavarone of Somerset, daughter Dena Connolly, and son Bruce Connolly both of Lakeville; two grandchildren, Angelina and Antonia; two sisters, Brenda and her husband Leo Pollack, Sandi and her husband Joe Deal, both of Connecticut; three brothers, Brian and his wife Emily Holmes, Kevin (Kevy) Holmes, both of Middleboro, Ken and his wife Mary Holmes of Florida; several nieces and nephews, Rebecca, Jenn-Jenn, Kendra, Ethan, Branden, Allyson. 

Funeral services were held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 17 Main St., (Rt105) Lakeville. Interment in Titicut Parish Cemetery, North Middleboro. For full obituary, visit www.RP-FH.com.
