LAKEVILLE — A man was transported by medical helicopter to a trauma center with life-threatening injuries after a single-car rollover crash on Route 140 South at about 11:10 a.m. Wednesday morning, Lakeville Fire and State Police reported.

The man’s name and condition were not known as of Thursday morning, Aug. 10.

Lakeville Fire Department Car 2, Ambulance 2, Ambulance 3, Engine 1, and Engine 2 responded along with an additional engine from the Freetown Fire Department and the State Police, according to the Lakeville Fire Department.

The southbound and northbound left lanes were closed for some time after the accident to allow State Police to investigate, State Police reported.
