MIDDLEBORO – The night sky will take center stage as Soule Homestead, 46 Soule St., hosts a family stargazing night at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2. 

 Bridgewater State University Observation Manager Jamie Kern will lead a walk down the farm road to the back fields to observe visible stars and planets.

Walkers will then return to stargaze through telescopes in the field behind the classroom. Weather permitting, a bonfire will be lit and packaged s’mores will be available for purchase.

Fees for members are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Non-member fees are $15 for adults and $10 for children. Park and meet at the parking area near the goats. 

Weather back-up date is Saturday, Nov. 9.
