LAKEVILLE — Paving will take place this week on Long Point Road and Montgomery Street, the Lakeville Department of Public Works announced on Facebook.

Montgomery Street will be paved on Wednesday, Sept. 28, and Thursday, Sept. 29. Long Point Road will be paved on Friday, Sept. 30.

The Department of Public Works requests that residents “plan ahead” because access to side streets and driveways “will be limited and will be closed for brief periods of time.” The department asks that drivers take alternate routes, or to expect delays while using Long Point Road or Montgomery Street.

Police details will be on-site throughout the process to assist with traffic flow and safety.

The Department of Public Works asks that residents on Montgomery Street and Long Point Road flag any sprinkler heads within 10 feet of the roadway edge so workers can avoid them while paving.
