It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda Cathleen (Frye) Koch of Middleboro, a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend, who left this world on March 9, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on February 16, 1955, in Adams, Massachusetts, Linda lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Linda was a devoted mother to her two children, Heather Frye of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and Benjamin Frye of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Her love extended beyond her immediate family, as she was a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart. As one of five siblings, Linda shared a special bond with her two sisters and two brothers,(Brian D Frye and his wife Debbie, Brenda M (Frye) Rodrigues, Laurel D Frye and Aaron J Frye and his wife Denise) creating a tapestry of family memories that will be treasured for generations. Her laughter and warmth brought light to family gatherings, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents Winthrop R Frye and Shirley F (Gomes) Frye.

A vibrant spirit, Linda found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a particular fondness for butterflies, which symbolized her free spirit and love for nature. Her passion for coloring and playing games brought her immense joy, often shared with family and friends during their visits. Linda's home was a welcoming haven, filled with laughter and warmth, where everyone felt at ease.

Linda was also a devoted companion to her beloved cat, Kali, who provided her with comfort and companionship. Together, they shared countless moments of tranquility and joy.

Linda's legacy is one of kindness, creativity, and a deep appreciation for the beauty in life. She will be remembered for her infectious laughter, her generous heart, and her ability to bring people together. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the wonderful memories she created and the love she shared with all who knew her.

A memorial service to honor Linda's life will be held on March 26, 2025, from 2 to 4 PM at O'Neill Funeral Home, located at 59 Peirce St., Middleboro, MA. Family and friends are invited to gather and share their memories, celebrating the beautiful life Linda lived.

Linda Cathleen (Frye) Koch will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the beauty of butterflies and the love of family.
