NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to M.G.L. Ch 131, the Wetlands Protection Act, the Lakeville Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on November 14, 2023, at 7pm at the Police Station, 323 Bedford Street, for a filing of an Abbreviated Notice of Resource Area Delineation. The applicant, Southcoast Redevelopment LLC, is seeking confirmation for 2492 lineal feet of Bordering Vegetated Wetland (BVW), 928 lineal feet of Isolated Vegetated Wetland (IVW), 512 lineal feet of Inland Bank for a pond at 162 Bedford Street in Lakeville MA. The project is located at 162 Bedford Street and is also identified as Assessor’s Map 26, Block 5, Plot 1.

The Middleborough Conservation Commission will hold a hearing under M.G.L. c. 131, s.40, the Wetlands Protection Act, for the repair of an existing failed septic system within 100’ of Woods Pond at 10 Wollow Ave., Map 61, Lots 3031 & 3034. Hearing has been requested by WR Logan Excavating. Hearing will be held November 16, 2023 at 7:15 PM in the Select Board Meeting Room, at the Town Hall, 10 Nickerson Avenue and via remote.

The Middleborough Conservation Commission will hold a hearing under M.G.L. c. 131, s.40, the Wetlands Protection Act, for the new construction of a single-family dwelling with on-site septic system and private well with associated grading within 100’ of a bordering vegetated wetland at 177 Summer Street Lot 4, Map 12, Lot 1414. Hearing has been requested by LEX Development Inc. Hearing will be held November 16, 2023 at 7:30 PM in the Select Board Meeting Room, at the Town Hall, 10 Nickerson Avenue and via remote.

The Middleborough Planning Board will hold a public hearing Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 6:45 PM in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room at the Town Hall, 10 Nickerson Ave, Middleborough, relative to a Retreat Lot Special Permit application pursuant to Section 7.4 of the Zoning By-law, as shown on a Plan as follows:
“Retreat Lot Special Permit Plan, Benson Street in Middleborough, MA, 02346” dated October 23, 2023, prepared by Zenith Consulting Engineers, LLC, 3 Main Street, Lakeville, MA 02347, prepared for the applicant, Long Built Homes, 158 Charlesm McCombs Boulevard, New Bedford, MA 02745 and owners, Mark and Catherine Correia, 46 Benson Street, Middleborough, MA 02346. Request for Proposals
Sale of Town Property

The Town of Middleborough, acting through its Select Board, seeks proposals for the sale of 3 parcels of Town-owned land located at 15 Station St, 2 Cambridge St, and 10 Cambridge St, all in Middleborough. Proposal packages may be obtained at the Town Manager’s Office from 8AM-6PM on Mondays, 8AM-5PM Tuesday-Thursday, and 8AM-12PM on Fridays, or by emailing surettee@middleboroughma.gov. Proposals must be received in the Town Manager’s Office by December 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM, at which time and place proposals will be opened publicly. Award will be based on comparative evaluation criteria set forth in the RFP. The awarding authority is the Select Board. The sale will be awarded by the Select Board at a regularly scheduled meeting, taking place on Mondays at 7PM.
