LEGAL NOTICE
INVITATION FOR PROPOSALS (IFP)

Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 164, § 56D, the Middleborough Gas & Electric Department (or “MGED”) seeks proposals for the purchase of the following electric vehicle charging equipment:

•Six (6) new (latest model) ChargePoint Express 250 (level 3 fast charger) dual port chargers with customizable display using direct current at 480 volts
•Are capable of charging at least 62.5 kW capacity and 50kW or greater at all ports simultaneously
•Input power connection configuration set up – standard input [480V AC, 3-phase, 96A, 50 Hz]
•Supplies, for each port, both a CHAdeMO and a SAE CCS connector
•Are able to charge EV’s made by multiple manufacturers, as well as receive payment for all EV drivers without restriction based on membership or subscription.
•Are certified to UL (Underwriters Labratories, Inc) standards by a Nationally Recognized Testing Labratory (NRTL)

Pricing shall include all shipping and delivery costs, warranties, and proposed contract terms. Installation and other onsite work will be procured separately in accordance with applicable laws. Sealed proposals shall be submitted to the Middleborough Gas & Electric Department, 32 S Main St, Middleborough, MA., ATTN: Ali Golz, no later than Friday, November 18, 2022 by noon 12:00PM. All bids need to be submitted during working hours; Monday through Friday 8:30-4:30. Proposals will then be opened and read aloud publicly. Late proposals will not be accepted.

MGED reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive deviations and informalities, modify specifications, negotiate price, and contract terms, purchase items from multiple vendors, accept any proposal, and otherwise award the contract as MGED deems to be in its best interest, as determined by MGED in its sole discretion.

Proposals shall remain valid and binding for sixty (60) days, Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays excluded, following the submission deadline. No agreement shall be valid or binding on MGED unless duly executed by MGED.


 

TOWN OF LAKEVILLE

Pursuant to Chapter 138 of the Massachusetts General Laws, the Lakeville Select Board, acting as the Local Licensing Authority, will conduct a public hearing at 6:15 PM on Monday, November 21, 2022 on the application of Red Hand Brewing Company, Inc. dba Red Hand Brewing, for a new General On Premises All Alcoholic Beverages License for the property located at 348 Bedford Street, Lakeville, Massachusetts.

Said hearing will be held at the Lakeville Police Station, 323 Bedford Street, Lakeville, Massachusetts.
