The Town of Middleborough, Massachusetts is inviting the submission of sealed Bids for Site Work & Building Demolition at 48 Wareham Street. Bid packages may be obtained beginning at 8:00 AM on May 28, 2025 in the Town Manager’s Office, located at 10 Nickerson Ave, Middleborough, or via email request to surettee@middleboroughma.gov. Bids must be received in the Town Manager’s Office by 2:00 PM on June 25, 2025, at which time and place they will be opened publicly and read aloud. An optional pre-bid site visit will occur at 10:00 AM on June 10, 2025 at 48 Wareham Street, Middleborough. Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete building demolition, paving, site grading, and riverfront restoration and all work incidental thereto. Bidders must comply with the wage rates and weekly payroll submittals required by the Prevailing Wage Law.

According to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 131, Section 40 of the Wetlands Protection Act, there will be a hearing on a Notice of Intent submitted by WR Logan Excavating, Inc., for the construction of a single-family house with associated septic system, utilities, driveway, grading and landscaping within the 100 feet of a bordering vegetated wetland. The location of the project is 19 Captains Way, Lakeville (Map 060 Block 006 Lot 3). The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 6:30p.m. at the Lakeville Police Station, 323 Bedford St., Lakeville.
