Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 164, § 56D, the Middleborough Gas & Electric Department (or “MGED”) seeks proposals for the purchase of one (1) new Line and Service Body with a 50 ft. Material Aerial Bucket Unit to the Town of Middleborough.

Specifications may be obtained by requesting via email at bids@mged.com, calling Ali Golz at 508-947-1371 x106 or by visiting MGED’s website at www.mged.com

Pricing shall include all costs, warranties, and proposed contract terms. Sealed proposals shall be submitted to the Middleborough Gas & Electric Department, 2 Vine Street, Middleborough, MA 02346, ATTN: Zachariah Hirschy, no later than 11:00a.m., Wednesday July 2, 2025. Bids must be hand delivered to an MGED employee. Proposals will then be opened and read aloud publicly. Late proposals will not be accepted.

MGED also reserves the right to purchase the vehicle from a statewide contract or through other procurement options authorized by G.L. c. 30B.

The LAKEVILLE PLANNING BOARD pursuant to the Town of Lakeville Code Bylaws, Chapter 270, §270-6.7, C (7) will hold a Public Hearing on THURSDAY, June 26, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Lakeville Police Station, 323 Bedford Street. The purpose of the Public Hearing will be to receive information and public comment on the following Site Plan Review, Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) application:

225 County Street – The applicant, William Fuller seeks Site Plan Review and Approval for an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU). The ADU will be 900 sq. feet with an attached garage and a garage underneath. The application and assorted documents can be viewed in the Planning Department by appointment.

The meeting is to provide interested parties with an opportunity to comment on the proposed regulations to the Town of Middleborough Administrative Regulations Site Plan Review under Section 7.7 – Accessory Dwelling Units.

SITE WORK & BUILDING DEMOLITION
AT 48 WAREHAM STREET

The Town of Middleborough, Massachusetts is inviting the submission of sealed Bids for Site Work & Building Demolition at 48 Wareham Street. Bid packages may be obtained beginning at 8:00 AM on June 18, 2025 in the Town Manager’s Office, located at 10 Nickerson Ave, Middleborough, or via email request to surettee@middleboroughma.gov. Bids must be received in the Town Manager’s Office by 2:00 PM on July 9, 2025, at which time and place they will be opened publicly and read aloud. An optional pre-bid site visit will occur at 10:00 AM on June 26, 2025 at 48 Wareham Street, Middleborough. Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete building demolition, paving, site grading, and riverfront restoration and all work incidental thereto. Bidders must comply with the wage rates and weekly payroll submittals required by the Prevailing Wage Law.
