NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

According to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 131, Section 40 of the Wetlands Protection Act, there will be a hearing on a Notice of Intent submitted by William Bachant, for installation of a new advanced treatment septic system and the decommissioning of the existing septic system within 100’ of a bordering vegetated wetland and within flood zone AE-57. The location of the project is 15 Island Road, Lakeville (Map 041 Block 001 Lot 027). The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 7:00p.m. at the Lakeville Police Station, 323 Bedford St., Lakeville.

The LAKEVILLE COMMUNITY PRESERVATION COMMITTEE (CPC) pursuant to the Lakeville General Bylaws, Community Preservation Committee, Section 2, will conduct a public informational hearing on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 7:00 P.M. at the LAKEVILLE POLICE STATION, 323 BEDFORD STREET, regarding the Lakeville CPC Plan. The purpose of the hearing will be to provide information and receive public comment on the Lakeville CPC Plan.

The Plan can be viewed in the Planning Department by appointment, or on the Town of Lakeville Community Preservation Committee’s web page.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to M.G.L. Ch 131, the Wetlands Protection Act, the Lakeville Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on February 27 th at 7pm at the Lakeville Police Station, 323 Bedford Street, on a Notice of Intent filing. The applicant, Derek Maksy, is proposing the construction of a single family dwelling with associated grading and site work within the buffer zone of an existing cranberry bog area.
The project is located on Crooked Lane and also identified as Assessors Map 059 Block 001 Lot 04A

FORMER DPW SITE DEMOLITION

Bid packages may be obtained beginning at 8:00 AM on February 14, 2024 in the Town Manager’s Office, located at 10 Nickerson Ave, Middleborough, or via email to surettee@middleboroughma.gov. Bids must be received in the Town Manager’s Office by 10:00 AM on February 29, 2024, at which time and place they will be opened publically and read aloud. An optional pre-bid site visit will occur at 10:00 AM on February 21, 2024 at the Project site, located at 48 Wareham Street, Middleborough. Work consists of furnishing the labor and materials necessary for the demolition of existing structures and the removal of demolished materials from the site. Bidders must be certified by DCAMM in the Demolition category of work, and must comply with the wage rates and weekly payroll submittals required by the Prevailing Wage Law.
