NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Middleborough Conservation Commission will hold a hearing under M.G.L. c. 131, s.40, the Wetlands Protection Act, to construct a gazebo and installation of supporting 30’ x 20’ foundation and crushed stone at Battis Field. The work will involve the excavation of approximately 5’-0” of soil along the perimeter of the slab and transition to 1’-6” of excavation along the remaining portions of the slab within 100’ of a bordering vegetated wetland and 200’ riverfront area at 26 Jackson Street, Map 50Q, Lot 5649. Hearing has been requested by the Town of Middleborough. Hearing will be held August 15, 2024 at 7:15 PM in the Select Board Meeting Room, at the Town Hall, 10 Nickerson Avenue and via remote.

The Select Board will hold a public hearing in the Select Board’s Meeting Room at the Town Hall, 10 Nickerson Avenue, Middleborough, MA on Monday, August 19, 2024 at 7:30 PM, for the purpose of discussing an application filed by Outback Engineering, Inc. for a Special Permit under the Water Resource Protection District By-Law to allow for the construction of a 16’ wide gravel driveway to access 2 single family home lots through the 25’ wetland buffer zone.
