According to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 131, Section 40 of the Wetlands Protection Act, there will be a hearing on a Notice of Intent submitted by Jeffrey Bell, Trustee of the Jeffrey C. Bell Living Trust, to raze an existing 3 bedroom dwelling and construct a new fema compliant 3 bedroom dwelling within 100’ of an inland resource area. The location of the project is 113 Staples Shore Road, Lakeville (Map 64 Block 3 Lot 021 and 006-991). The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 7:00p.m. at the Lakeville Police Station, 323 Bedford St., Lakeville.

The location of the project is 13 Main Street, Lakeville (Map 60 Block 7 Lot 1A). The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 7:00p.m. at the Lakeville Police Station, 323 Bedford St., Lakeville.

The Town of Lakeville is requesting proposals for the services of a Designer to represent the Town’s interests in designing the new Lakeville Fire Station. The estimated construction cost is $15 million. The fee will be negotiated with the selected Designer. The RFQ will be available on August 2, 2023 by emailing the Select Board’s Office at (tcraig-mcgee@lakevillema.org). Proposals sealed and clearly marked “Lakeville Fire Station Construction Project, Response to RFQ for Designer Services,” are due no later than August 24, 2023 by 2:00 PM in the Select Board’s Office, 346 Bedford Street, Lakeville, MA 02347. The Select Board will hold a public hearing in the Select Board’s Meeting Room at the Town Hall, 10 Nickerson Avenue, Middleborough, MA on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 7:30 PM, for the purpose of discussing an application filed by Zenith Consulting Engineers, LLC, for a Special Permit under the Water Resource Protection District By-Law to allow for restoration of an existing vegetated area within 25’ of a wetland. The project involves the removal of invasive spieces and planting of shrubs and trees native to the area. The property is located at 68 E. Main Street, in the Residence A (RA) and in Water Resource Protection District (WRPD) Zone 2. This is shown on Assessors Map 051, Lot 2848.
