NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Middleborough Conservation Commission will hold a hearing under M.G.L. c. 131, s.40, the Wetlands Protection Act, to construct a new 9,626 s.f. water treatment building, a 4,368 s.f. garage, a new bituminous concrete driveway and associated amenities, located within 100’ of a bordering vegetated wetland at 55 East Grove Street, Map 58, Lot 6226. Hearing has been requested by Michael Bumpus, Town of Middleborough Water Department. Hearing will be held September 5, 2024 at 8:10 PM in the Select Board Meeting Room, at the Town Hall, 10 Nickerson Avenue and via remote.

MIDDLEBOROUGH PLANNING BOARD
In accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 40A, Section 5 as amended, the Planning Board will hold two (2) separate public hearings on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 beginning at 6:45 PM and 7:00 PM, respectively, within the Select Board’s Meeting Room, Town Hall, 10 Nickerson Avenue, Middleborough, MA, for the purpose of providing interested parties with an opportunity to comment on the proposed amendments to the Town of Middleborough Zoning By-laws as follows:
6:45 PM - MBTA Multi-Family Zoning (WGO) Overlay - Establish a Multi-Family Housing Overlay District in compliance with the Commonwealth’s Multi-Family Housing Requirement for MBTA Communities (M.G.L. Chapter 40A, Section 3A), as follows: (1) add to Section 2.2 (“Overlay Districts”) the West Grove Multi-Family Housing Overlay District (WGO) (2) amend Section 2.4 (Zoning Map) to include the West Grove Multi-Family Housing Overlay District (WGO); and (3) add to Section 8.0 (“Overlay District Regulations”) a new Section 8.7 entitled “West Grove Multi-Family Housing Overlay District (WGO),”
7:00 PM - General Use A (GUA) Zoning District – Amend a reference to Chapter 275, Section 4.1.1 Table of Dimensional Requirements of the Zoning Bylaw as follows:
** In the GUA District and the GUB District, any Lot with ten (10) acres or more in size, the Zoning Board of Appeals, upon a finding that additional height is reasonably necessary for the use of a structure and will not be detrimental to the neighborhood may authorize by special permit a structure not to exceed sixty-five (65) feet in height.

According to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 131, Section 40 of the Wetlands Protection Act, there will be a hearing on a Notice of Intent submitted by Ann Marie Burke, for installation of a sea wall with associated grading on Long Pond. The location of the project is 7 Pine Haven Lane, Lakeville (Map 037 Block 001 Lot 010). The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 7:00p.m. at the Lakeville Police Station, 323 Bedford St., Lakeville.
