Lakeville Garden Club plant sale May 9
LAKEVILLE -- The Lakeville Garden Club will hold its annual spring plant sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 9 at the Lakeville Historic Town House at Precinct Street and Route 18.
Proceeds from the sale support town gardens and containers, free programs for the public, and the club’s scholarship.
In addition to annuals, perennials, vegetables, herbs, and house plants, there will be an assortment of baked goods, hanging plants and containers, garden treasures, Mother’s Day gifts and floral arrangements.
The Junior Garden Club and Brownie Troop 77318 will also have tables. Cash and credit cards are accepted for payment.
The scholarship fundraiser will be a silent auction of a number of items. Past President and Lakeville quilter Pat Bessette has donated quilted pieces. Gardening items from Peggy Gross were also donated.
The Lakeville Garden Club is a member of the National Garden Club, Inc., the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts, Inc., and the National Arbor Day Society.
