MIDDLEBORO — Community-driven adults looking to give back to the community can find out more about joining the Middleboro Lions at their membership drive. 

The drive will be held Sept. 22 in the main ballroom of the Oak Point Community at 200 Oak Point Drive. The event will begin at 7 p.m. and will be a chance for interested individuals to learn more about the club. 

The Lions fundraise for various nonprofits including the Sacred Heart Food Pantry, Soule Homestead Education Center, Conway House and more. They also collect and distribute prescription eyeglasses for people in need throughout the world.
