Wells, Maine - John C. McGuire, 92, of Wells, ME, formerly of Lakeville, MA, died at his home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, February 12, 2023. Born January 23, 1931 in Caribou, ME, he was the son of the late John and Eva (Cochran) McGuire. He leaves, to cherish his memory, his wife Lenora of 70 years, his four children, son John and wife Lisa, daughter Kerry, daughter Sheila and husband Edwin, and son Andrew and partner Sabine. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren who loved him dearly.

He was predeceased by his brother, Warren and sisters, Margaret, Dorothy (Susie), and Rachael. 

John (Jack) attended the Goodwill Hinckley Schools in Hinckley, Maine. He served his country in the United States Navy and went on to be a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service in Middleborough, MA for many years until his retirement.

A private burial will be held at the Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
