The time is approaching to get egg-cited about Easter events in Middleboro and Lakeville.

Middleboro Merchants will put on the third annual Easter Egg Hunt in Middleboro on Saturday, March 23. 

Participating stores will offer candy-filled eggs for egg hunters and will post signs in store windows. There will also be an Easter bunny hopping around downtown and posing for pictures. 

The event will take place from 10 to 2 p.m. 

The event is hosted by Middleboro Merchants in collaboration with the Meeting House Church. 

 The Lakeville Lions Club is hosting the annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30, 11 a.m. sharp at the clubhouse, 170 Main St., Lakeville.  

Children 9 and younger are invited to search for eggs filled with candy and prizes and take pictures with the Easter Bunny.

Children should bring their own Easter baskets.
