MIDDLEBORO — The Friends of the Middleboro Public Library will host a performance by the Hip Swayers at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18 as part of the “Music that Moves” Sunday Concert series. 

The Hip Swayers combine tight rhythms, searing solos, and soulful harmonies in an eclectic mix of catchy originals, old-time country, and twangy reverb-soaked sound that keeps toes tapping and hips swaying..

The concert is sponsored by Central Cafe, 254 Center St., Middleboro. 

Admission is free and refreshments will be available for purchase. 

All proceeds will be used to strengthen the Friends’ mission to support the programs of the library by raising funds to supplement the operating budget.
