MIDDLEBORO — The Highland Divas are offering a concert at The Alley Theatre in Middleboro Saturday, Aug. 12.

Lakeville resident Georgia Johnson, (originally of Glasgow, Scotland) will join Margaret Kelly, (Falkirk, Scotland), and Marla Kavanagh (New Zealand) on stage. These three women with diverse musical backgrounds and common heritage will take listeners on a musical journal. 

Their performance spans from the folk music of Ireland, Scotland, and New Zealand, to Celtic songs, classical pieces, and rock opera. Last summer the Divas performed at The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. They have performed all over the United Kingdom and the United States, including Westminster Hall in London and Carnegie Hall in New York City.

The Bartending Service of New England will be pouring. Coffee Milano will serve food. The Alley Theatre is located at 133 Center Street in Middleboro. 

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Music begins at 7 p.m.
