Visit a Winter wonderland. A winter wonderland featuring Jesus in the Nativity, hot chocolate, face-painting, storytelling and Santa will be held at 31 Center St. in Middleboro.

The event will be held from 4 to 8 p.m.  Friday, Dec. 9; 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10; and 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11 and Friday, Dec. 16.

Admission is $10 for anyone older than 16; $5 for those ages 5 to 15 and free for children younger than five. All proceeds support Adult & Teen Challenge’s Bloom, A Place for Girls. A Place for Girls is a short-term, Adult & Teen Challenge program in a home-like setting dedicated to helping teen girls, youth ages 12-17, and their families through difficult times.

Stroll through the lights Holiday Lights at the Park, a park and walk event at Battis Field in Middleboro, will take place from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 9, 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18. The Middleboro Parks Department and Middleboro Tourism Committee are the sponsors. Cost is $15 per a family of up to four people on Eventbrite, $5 cash per person on the day of the event. View a live Nativity. Cornerstone Community Church, 111 Highland Road, will host a Christmas event 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10.

The event will include a live Nativity, Christmas walk-through, carolers, food and hot chocolate. 

This is an outdoor and indoor event. Inclement weather date is 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11.

Enjoy Christmas music. Sony recording artist Jamie Kimmett will present a free Christmas Concert at the Central Congregational Church, 2 Webster St., Middleboro, on Friday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. His program is titled “The Christmas Classics Tour.  

He has toured with Casting Crowns, Zack Williams, Lecrae, For King and Country and other artists. His debut EP, Prize Worth Fighting For,” has had millions of streams. Sing carols and hear “The Messiah.’’ Pilgrim Festival Chorus presents its 11th annual “Celebrate! – Messiah and Carol Sing-along” on Friday, Dec. 16, at 7:30 p.m., at First Congregational Church, 6 Plympton St., Middleboro. 

Artistic Director William B. Richter leads the audience in carols and the familiar choruses from the Christmas portion (Part I) of Handel’s masterpiece “The Messiah,” concluding with the “Hallelujah Chorus. ”In “Messiah Sings,” popular throughout the area for many years, the audience can either sing or listen.

Tickets are $10 for adults and youth ages 12 and up. For children under the age of 12, there is no charge. Advance tickets may be purchased online at pilgrimfestivalchorus.org/tickets or tickets may be bought at the door.
