MIDDLEBORO — Mary K. Goode School fifth grader Aubrey Jadotte rode to school in style recently.

She earned a ride on a fire truck for being the top fund-raiser at the school’s Fun Run, which raised money to purchase and install playground equipment.  

Aubrey raised over $3,000, which was a significant part of the almost $40,000 raised during the run.

The money raised was used to purchase and install playground equipment including a double slide, GaGa ball pit, swing set and a big canopy to offer shade for outdoor classes or anytime during recess.
