Fund-raising motorcycle run route to include Lakeville

Jul 13, 2023

LAKEVILLE — Saint Vincent's Services will hold its 18th Annual Motorcycle Run and Raffle, presented by Preferred Concrete Corp. and traveling through Lakeville, on Sunday, Sept. 17 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

"We are excited to welcome everyone out this fall for our annual motorcycle run. Everyone will enjoy the open roads, sweeping lake views and spectacular scenery,’’ said Katie Dawkins, Director of Donor Relations and Fundraising.

The signature 45-mile event will start rain or shine at 2425 Highland Ave. in Fall River, with kick-stands up promptly at 10 a.m.

The Massachusetts State Police will escort riders along the scenic ride as they travel through the back roads of Lakeville, Fall River, Assonet, Berkley and Somerset and end at the Fall River Elks Lodge on North Main Street.

Kathryn Dow, Chair of the Motorcycle Run's Committee, is excited to see and welcome attendees. "While this is a Bike Run, people need not have a motorcycle to participate. There will be many opportunities at the Elks for everyone to  participate and enjoy the day with us while supporting the mission of Saint Vincent's," she said.

Tickets for riders, passengers, and attendees are available on Saint Vincent's Services website, www.SaintVincentsServices.org or can be purchased on the morning of the Bike Run. To donate a raffle item, contact Dawkins at (508) 235-3228 or email kdawkins@saintvincentsservices.org
