MIDDLEBORO — A workshop at Soule Homestead Education Center, 46 Soule St., will teach the art of fiber emballage, a French word for wrapping, from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 22.

Each student will work to create a small wrapped fiber sculpture from start to finish. The finished wrapped fiber tube can be twisted into a variety of configurations or left straight to hang vertically or horizontally.

This workshop is suited for all levels for those 10 and older but some hand dexterity is required. Any children interested in attending must be accompanied by an adult.
