MIDDLEBORO — A bridge at routes 105 and 495 in Middleboro was damaged early Sunday morning Feb. 23 when ​​it was struck by a dumpster truck that rolled onto its side.

The driver of the truck sustained injuries that were not life threatening, State Police reported. The accident happened at about 6:30 a.m.

Several lanes of traffic on Route 105 were closed and the MBTA, which uses the bridge, was notified. 

All lanes of traffic were reopened by 9 a.m., according to the State Police.

The accident is under investigation.
