MIDDLEBORO – The Public Library is pumping it up for summer reading with a community bash on the Town Hall Lawn July 13 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Grammy-nominated artist Divi Roxx Kids will perform at 10:30 a.m. and book swap tables will be open for trading. 

Divinity Roxx gained traction performing with Victor Wooten and then on tour as a bassist and musical director for Beyoncé. Roxx has also appeared on numerous nationally acclaimed TV-shows including Good Morning America and Saturday Night Live. 

As part of the Summer Reading program, a code word will be given to children and teen readers who attend the event. This code word will reward readers with extra virtual tickets toward the Summer Reading grand prizes.

In inclement weather, the event will move indoors to the Town Hall ballroom.
