Chip Alexander

WAREHAM – Chip Alexander, of Wareham, passed away on May 11, 2024, at Tobey Hospital. He was the son of Pearl (Crandell) Alexander and the late Buster Alexander.

He was born in Wareham and lived in Middleboro for 21 years before returning to Wareham 9 years ago.

Chip worked as a forklift driver for the New England Crouton Factory in Wareham. Previously he worked for New England Ropes, Ocean Spray and Talbots Distribution Center in Lakeville.

He was an avid sports fan.

Survivors include his two sons, Phil Alexander of Middleboro and Jeff Alexander of Wareham; his mother, Pearl (Crandell) Alexander of Wareham; 2 sisters, Ellen DeGregorio and Rachel Alexander both of Wareham; the mom of his two sons, Cheryl Sylvia of Middleboro; and his girlfriend, Sheila Roche of Wareham; 8 nephews and nieces; 5 great nephews and nieces.  He was the brother of the late Philip E. Alexander.

Visiting hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.

His graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Agawam Cemetery, Great Neck Rd. & Stillman Memorial Dr., Wareham.
