Caroline Hammond (Howes) Chase, age 101, of Middleborough, died peacefully on Friday, September 27, 2024, at the Hannah B.G. Shaw Home in Middleborough.

Born in Lakeville, she was the daughter of the late Edwin & Amanda Howes. Caroline attended public schools and in 1941 she married Harold H. Chase in New Bedford. She was a devoted homemaker, and worked at Albert Shoe in Middleborough and the Wareham Community Mini Storage. Caroline was an avid square dancer; enjoying many square dances with her husband. She loved her family and cherished time spent together, especially with her three generations of grandchildren.

Caroline was the beloved wife of the late Harold Chase; loving mother of Marilyn Teceno & her husband Frederick of Bourne and Margaret Jones & her husband Christopher of Raynham; cherished grandmother of Frederick Teceno & his wife Dianne, Ellen Connell, Cara Teceno-Nitschke & her husband Mark, Julie Cardinali & her husband Geoffrey, Jefferey Jones, and Jamie Jones & his wife Wendy; great-grandmother of Delaney, Callahan, Bennett, Allan & his wife Ashley, Chase & his fiancée Stacey, MacKenzie & her fiancé Aaron, Jahde, Jorden, Scarlett, Noah, Amanda, Judson, Skylar, Taylor, and Spencer; great great-grandmother of Rylan and Kaley; dear sister of the late Gladys, Charlie, Marion, Elsie, Frank and Edward.

There will be NO visiting hours.
