MIDDLEBORO — Downtown Middleboro will take on a country flair Friday, Aug. 1, as the Friends of the Middleboro Public Library host a line dancing event as part of the town’s First Friday series.

The event will run from 5 to 8 p.m. in the parking lot at the corner of Peirce Street and North Main Street. Line dancing is free and open to all. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Attendees can learn new steps, show off their skills and dance throughout the evening. Food will be available for purchase from Main Ingredient, and a mechanical bull will be on-site for those looking to test their rodeo abilities.
