Bluegrass and newgrass to be performed March 24 at library

Mar 14, 2024

MIDDLEBORO — The Friends of the Middleboro Public Library will host a performance at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 24 by Greystone Rail.

The group mixes traditional bluegrass with modern newgrass. Some of their songs were probably not intended for bluegrass but they put their own spin on them anyway.

The concert is funded with support from the Massachusetts Cultural Council.  Admission is free and refreshments will be available for purchase with all proceeds being used to strengthen the Friends’ mission.

The Friends of the Middleboro Public Library Middleboro is an all-volunteer nonprofit, dedicated to helping the Middleboro community. Their mission is to support programs offered by the staff at the library and to connect the community through a variety of cultural events.
