MIDDLEBORO – The Middleboro Elks lodge is participating in a national essay competition about the Bill of Rights. The competition is open to students enrolled in grades five through eight, and the length of the essay is capped at 300 words. The Middleboro Elks will evaluate essays from local students before submitting the best essays to the district and national competitions. The essays are due by Dec. 15.
