MIDDLEBORO — The Oak Point Art Association will participate in the Middleborough Reveal and Windows Alive event sponsored by the Downtown Improvement Committee on First Friday, Oct. 7, from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, Oct. 8 at the Bridge Church, 31 Center Street.

 

Fifteen members of the Oak Point Art Association will be showing their artwork at this event. Members’ work will include paintings in watercolor, acrylics, pen and ink, oil scratchboard, pastel, mixed media and photography.

 

First Friday will not only have the various businesses open and a meet and greet and logo unveiling at the Bridge Church but accompanying the Art Show will be The Standard Deviants, a jazz group, performing from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday evening and on Saturday from noon to 2 p.m.
