NBSO Returns to the Zeiterion!
New Bedford Symphony Orchestra’s 2025–2026 Season: A Journey from Renewal to Joy
In a world that rarely slows down, the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra invites you to reclaim your sense of connection, beauty, and joy. The 2025–2026 season is more than a series of performances — it’s a journey through music that restores the spirit, from quiet renewal to full-hearted celebration, and marks our much-anticipated return to the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center for the majority of our concerts.
Under the direction of Music Director Yaniv Dinur, each concert is an opportunity to step away from the demands of daily life and immerse yourself in something deeply nourishing. Whether it’s the calming sounds of the Venezuelan plains, the shimmer of Portuguese guitar, or the soaring triumph of Beethoven’s Ode to Joy, this season’s music is chosen for how it will make you feel — grounded, uplifted, and alive.

Why this season matters
“Symphonic music has the power to both calm and energize us,” says NBSO President and CEO David Prentiss. “This season is about finding moments to breathe, to connect, and to remember what joy feels like.”
For many, a concert is the pause they didn’t know they needed — a moment when time slows, the mind clears, and beauty takes its rightful place at the center of life.
