Join the Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries on Saturday, March 21, at 2:00 p.m.to hear local art historian Jill Sanford discuss Mary Cassatt, one of America’s most prominent 19th century artists.  Cassatt’s accomplishments helped forge an open-mindedness about what art could be and about what a woman could do.  Audience members will participate in an engaging art observation experience designed for artists and non-artists alike.  The presentation, which is sponsored to celebrate National Women’s History Month, will be held at Southworth Library.
