Soule Homestead to host farm-friendly story hours

MIDDLEBORO -- Soule Homestead’s farm-friendly story hour takes place at10 a.m. Aug. 11, Sept. 8 and Oct. 13.

Those attending can meet an animal or learn about a wild animal at the center, hear a story, and make a craft. This program is geared towards children ages 2-5 but siblings are always welcome.

First Farm Fun is an hour long drop-in program, no pre-registration is needed. Participants can bring a blanket for story time or enjoy the grass.

Those attending should feel free to bring a lunch to stay and picnic after the program wraps up at 11 a.m. Restrooms, water fountain, and baby changing station located in the barn.

The program is free for members, $5 for all others.

The homestead is located at 46 Soule St., Middleboro. Park using the second driveway near the goats and register at the barn
