LAKEVILLE — March came in like a Lakeville Lion.

Members of the Lakeville Lions performed their first clean-up of the season Sunday, March 12 at the islands at Routes 18 and 105 and Precinct Street.

This is the first of what will likely be two to three more clean-ups and a planting, Lions Club By late July, the islands will need a clean-up in advance of the fall mum plantings.

Usually in late September, the Lions will plant 50 to 60 mums and additional clean-up, all part of the organization’s effort to keep the town beautified.
