Celebrate ‘Take Your Child to the Library Day’ at Middleboro public library

MIDDLEBORO — Celebrate the international “Take Your Child to the Library Day” on Saturday, Feb. 7 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Middleboro Public Library.

The day is an international initiative to encourage families to take their children to their local library. People can bring their children to the public library’s Children's Room for a day of fun, free activities. 

Attendees can make a bookmark, play games, join the library’s Winter Olympics reading challenge and complete a scavenger hunt. 

Kids who sign up for a new library card will get to pick something out of the library’s prize bin. No registration is required. All ages are welcome.
